Commercial Grade Networks

SoundVision Cabling

WiFi networks have quickly become the backbone of our homes? How often did you hear your kids ask about “the WiFi” five years ago? How about now? It used to be that only computers and printers relied on “the network.” Now, it’s everything – phones, tablets, iPads, audio, video, gaming systems, thermostats, even the lights, refrigerator and washer and dryer can communicate on the network.

Access Networks is the only residential provider that utilizes true enterprise-grade networking equipment for the home.

Rather than manufacture such a critical element, the team at Access Networks strategically selects and configures equipment designed by the leading networking manufacturers in the world. Fortune 500 companies across the globe are built on these network infrastructures, proving their performance and reliability through the test of time.

Automated lighting control systems typically provide the ability to automatically adjust a lighting device’s output based on:

  • Chronological time (time of day)

  • Astronomical time (sunrise / sunset)

  • Occupancy using sensors (which might be the motion detectors your security system is already using in your home)

  • Alarm conditions

  • Program logic (combination of events)

Benefits of

Lighting Design

The major advantage of a lighting control system over stand-alone lighting controls or conventional switches is the ability to control individual lights or groups of lights from a single user interface device.

The ability to control multiple light sources from a user device allows complex lighting scenes to be created. A room may have multiple scenes pre-set, each one created for different activities in the room.

A major benefit of lighting control systems is reduced energy consumption. Longer lamp life is also gained when dimming and switching off lights when not in use. Wireless lighting control systems provide additional benefits including reduced installation costs and increased flexibility over where switches and sensors may be placed.

Automated lighting systems reduce the amount of “wall acne” in your home. Instead of a bank of switches, you can have one, elegant keypad that will control all the lights the switch bank can, and more!
