Phil Harrington Project Manager

Phil Harrington - SoundVision Project Manager

Phil comes to SoundVision from the education world, where he spent nine years as an administrator and high school athletic director, and three years as a teacher.

Phil earned a bachelor of science from Appalachian State University, and a masters in educational leadership from the University of Dayton.

Phil brings a wealth of communications, organization, and employee/customer relations experience with him.

In his free time, Phil enjoys being outdoors, fishing, hiking, and playing basketball or tennis. Phil and his wife, Alyssa, live in Huntersville.

 

Jacob Blair – Lead Technician

Jacob was born and raised in Troutman, NC. While growing up, Jacob enjoyed riding dirt bikes, four wheelers, and ATV’s. He’s independent, hard-working and makes the best of any situation. Some of his passions are riding bikes, kayaking, and playing music. For the past 6 ½ years, Jacob has been in the communication business, working on larger commercial projects like stadiums, amphitheaters, data centers, colleges, and grocery stores.

Jacob enjoys spending time with his wife, Maddie and his clan on rescue animals.

All SoundVision technicians have undergone a North Carolina SBI background check and are licensed by the North Carolina Alarm Board. Jacob is also a Certified Control4 technician and continues his education through ProSource University. 

Kristen DiPietro – SoundVision Team Administrator

Kristen joined the SoundVision team in 2013, bringing with her, experience in both the retail purchasing and consumer banking worlds. As an Office Administrator, Kristen handles some of the day to day details. Kristen is very active and busy with four teenage boys (Ben, Michael, Matthew, and Jacob) and of course is married to Mark DiPietro.

Mike O’Dowd – SoundVision Service Manager

Mike O’Dowd was the longtime SoundVision Service Manager before relocating to Cozumel, Mexico. Mike is our first triage level of support for remote troubleshooting and diagnosis of any incoming service issues. 

Originally from Colorado, Mike who had his own AV enterprise before joining SoundVision and has decades of experience in the smart home industry.

Marshall Schaper – Smart Home Designer

Formerly a lead technician for SoundVision, Marshall transition to the role of systems designer in 2020. Educating and design are two of his greatest strengths.

Marshall was raised as a “military brat” to a father who served 23 years in the United States Air Force. He has a unique ability to be able to adapt to any situation and make the best of it. Born in Lakenheath, England, he relocated to Valdosta, Georgia where he lived for 16 years. In 2010, he relocated to the Statesville area to be closer to family.

Marshall is a father of two beautiful daughters, Lily and Piper and is engaged to be married to Mariah, the love of his life.

His hobbies include woodworking, aviation, camping and riding ATVs. All SoundVision technicians have undergone a North Carolina SBI background check and are licensed by the North Carolina Alarm Board.

NEW incoming ProSource President Jim Pearce and Representative for the Southeast, Frank Marengo visited the SoundVision experience center for a special podcast. In the podcast, we learned about Jim’s aspirations for the buying group under his his tenure. Frank reveals that his secret weapon, is in fact his 9 year old daughter Faith, who outshines him on vendor visits. SoundVision has offered Faith a training position with the SoundVision design team, but her dad says she needs to graduate elementary school first.

SoundVision received the Southeast Dealer of the Year in April of this year and SoundVision owner, Mark DiPietro is a volunteer on the ProSource Education Committee. SoundVision is committed to the professional growth of our employees and product offerings. ProSource is a resource for training, product and peer development.

SoundVision, LLC is proud to accounce that it was was voted best Audio Visual Company in the Mooresville Tribune and Statesville Record & Landmark”Best of Iredell” awards. The recognition comes as SoundVision, LLC is celebrating the first year openening of new Lake Norman experience center. The Mooresville Tribune and sister publication, Statesville Record and Landmark organize the awards annually. This was SoundVision’s first year win. Both newspapers announced the “Best of” awards on on May 15, 2022.
